Beginners scrapbooking

Sharing
There was lots of gossip at todays workshop, everyone was catching up after the christmas break.
One of the good things about being part of a scrapbooking group is sharing ideas and memories and boy did we share today!! LOL.
Todays challenge was to create a layout from papers supplied. There were some great layouts as you can see in the slideshow! A couple were unsure of how to use the papers to begin with but with a little encouragement they were soon cropping, sticking and creating. A couple of layouts were not completed, these people will have to have detention I think, too much gossip not enough scrapping!!! LOL

When we meet again we will focus on journaling as a couple of people were struggling with theirs. Watch out for the journaling article coming soon!
Take care and happy crafting!

Exploding box workshop

The exploding box workshop was lots of fun. Once everyone had their basic box cut out it was time to decorate it. The theme was "Christmas" . Some were made with christmas papers and embellishments and even a couple of 3D christmas trees! Some were made as christmas presents and used everyday papers and lovely mini photos, these include a hidden Terry's chocolate orange! I am surprised they made it to the recipients!! LOL. All turned out lovely.
Everyone was so pleased with their boxes that they asked for another workshop soon!
I will post a slideshow on a seperate post next!
Take care and keep crafting!
